Canada is a North American country consisting of ten provinces and three territories. It stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific and from the latitude of Rome to beyond the Magnetic North Pole. Its archetypal landscapes are the Rockies' lakes and peaks, the endless forests and the prairie wheat fields, but Canada holds landscapes that defy expectations; rainforest and desert lie close together in the southwest corner of the country, while in the east a short drive can take you from fjords to lush orchards. Canada is high on tourist preferred destination itineraries, as it offers a unique peek into its multi-cultural and bio-geographical diversity. It is relatively free from all sorts of discrimination and divide, a fact most Canadians are proud about. Canada advocates multiculturalism by encouraging all Canadians to participate in all aspects of life. Everyone in Canada is treated as equal.
Ø Why Canada?
Canada has been ranked as one of the top ten places in the World to live in. The majority of travelers are attracted by the opportunity to explore Canada’s wilderness areas, natural wonders and low-key rural charm; there is a lot more to Canada than maple trees, Niagara Falls and wide open spaces.
A Canadian degree, diploma or certificate is well-regarded in business, government and academic circles around the globe. Canada is famous for its acclaimed colleges and diversified range of courses. It offers low cost education as compared to other countries and has a good record of international students over many years. The talented faculty of the colleges in this country covers more than the curriculum of the courses and gives the students real world knowledge. The level of education is comparatively tough with respect to other countries but it is well structured. International students who have graduated from a Canadian university or college have the opportunity to work in Canada for up to one year after they receive their degree or diploma. International students can work on campus without a work permit. Plans are being made to allow international students to work off-campus, too.
